a key international player in parking revenue management control
On February 28th 2011 FAAC SpA completed their acquisition of ZEAG Group, a Swiss-based leading international player active for more than 50 years in Parking Revenue Management Solutions.

Zeag SA - New Projects
Zeag South Africa was recently awarded the parking equipment supply contract for Pretoria University. The university is in the final construction stages of their new high tech lecture facility which is combined with a multi storey parkade. Credit card functionality for student account payment was a key factor in the design of the system.
Other projects recently awarded include Bloemfontein Airport and Atterbury’s new upmarket Lynwood retail centre.
Berthing Revenue - It's Plain Sailing with Zeag
Belfast Harbour's leisure craft facilities are situated at the head of Belfast Lough within a 10 minute walk of the City centre. The Abercorn Basin is located against the stunning backdrop of the new Arc apartments, and adjacent to Belfast Odyssey Arena, the new berths are centrally located within the vibrant Titanic Quarter of Belfast.
Electro Automation has installed a variation of the ZEAG OrionXR parking control revenue system to control the berthing revenue and help secure access to Belfast Harbour's leisure craft facilities. The pontoon area is secured using automatic gates powered by Electro's in ground automation system.
Once a visitor berths at the facility they take a berthing e on a validated (and current) ticket is accepted at the gates for entry and exit, thereby safeguarding the area. Electro Automation used Oris numeric sequence keypads as a connected part of the ZEAG OrionXR system. ticket and payment is made in advance at the ZEAG OrionXR fully automatic pay station.
A special feature allows the appropriate tariff (according to length of vessel and duration of stay) to be stepped though and selected. Payment is made by credit card, and the system logs these details.
Electric Vehicle Charge Points
With the introduction of Electric Vehicles, the car park provider is coming under more pressure to install charge points. By 2015 some 5% of all new vehicles will be powered by electricity.
